George Ledger

I am an active Club Photographer who also does a little bit of Professional Photography on the side. I have been a member of Consett for well over 20 years but remain keen, active and always want to learn something new.
My main work photography is sport (I have covered School Football right up to the Olympic games and most things in between), but I also work for several charities including Land of Oak and Iron and Search and Rescue Association.
My personal Photographic interests range from Nature and Wildlife, Documentary and Street, to Portraiture, although my favourite subjects are now my two (soon to be three) Grandchildren.
I have been both a Lecturer and Judge for the Northern Counties Photographic Federation for over 20 years and really enjoy visiting other Photographic Clubs in the area and seeing other people’s work. I strongly believe that you must be an active photographer to be a good judge, so below are a few images taken in the last year which showcase my photographic interests.
